(December 5, 2007) Miami, FL— As the release of his sophomore effort, "Trilla," nears, (due in stores February 19th, 2008) Def Jam/Slip N' Slide rapper Rick Ross continues to remain committed to serving his community through giving during this Holiday Season. Rick Ross Charities Inc. is dedicated to providing inroads for today's youth through social, educational and mentoring programs through venture philanthropy and youth entrepreneurship. Rick Ross Charities' Inc, partnership with pre-IPO global franchise Hip Hop Grub Spot,™ provides further opportunity to execute these initiatives. "God has blessed me and if I can bless someone else, especially the kids--to let them know that we care, I'm going to do that. Being able to give back is what it's all about," states the rapper.

The toy drive will take place at the new global pre-IPO franchise, Hip Hop Grub Spot™ located in Miami Gardens, Florida at 20356-20358 NW 2nd Avenue. Approximately 70 children and their families, have been personally invited to the toy drive at the Hip Hop Grub Spot™ and they will be provided with gifts in the spirit of giving on Sunday, December 16th  2007.

These efforts are also supported by local government officials as well as The Portrait of Empowerment, a non-profit organization spearheaded by Dorothy "Dottie" Johnson, Vice Mayor of Opa-Locka, Florida. The Portrait of Empowerment aims to empower at-risk youth and families while producing future leaders by utilizing a holistic approach which focuses on the healthy development of youth, family and community.

Vice Mayor Johnson states, "This year is signature for our vision to able to bless those that are less fortunate as we are dedicated to enabling individuals to become self -sufficient during this holiday season."
